DIVERSIFY or PACIFY.....?

The sun has gone down and the darkness has hovered the horizon,
Every creature on the earth has set aside to be on its own.
Predominantly the time preceding this, is what makes your life worthy,
Amidst creations you indulge in natural outflow of emotions.

Sounds so easy to be just writing down about the preface of life,
But does one know, what emotions could do, not only to you but the ones around you.
Engrossed in joy and excitement I always cited my thought flow,
Was it unnecessary or was it overdose of the self-triggered instincts.

My friend, I don't know what you are thinking,
There sure is lot to question and there's lot to answer,
Juvenile you might be in thinking of relations as constants,
It's not so, if you were already paraphrasing the mislead notion.

Things always change and people do change,
Nones a sage in any of the Holy pages,
The very thought you are and you would be the credential to any,
Is just a brittle process of your imagination?

Ages it has been since anyone told me,
I just thought about you!!
Of course my counterparts would say this you shouldn't expect,
Little did they think few ticks before, the same stream had crossed their very minds.

Superficially half the population known to you pulls up sympathy on your part,
Immaterialistic thoughts also tend to be pressurized but always hidden smart,
Keeping away those devil thoughts you try to move now,
Journey would have been worthless if things were always at ease.

All through your life you come across so many things and so many people,
Few of which make you feel at the very outset these are subs you longed,
Yet when it changes, the very sting of not being a part always bites.

There’s lot to speak and lots to hear but it’s within oneself that the corner should be voluntarily filled,
With the true attitude, emotion and understanding,
For every minute you lose in applying Tomato sauce to the burger,
The warmth and healthy content in it is already fading away.

Harrysdayout @ Sarjapur

We have moved into our new office in Sarjapur and as a part of poetry competition penned down
these lines which are indicative of the daily hustle.
The birds that sing and the sun that shines,
All feels so good until the thought which strikes,
From the soft and comfy bed I need to rise.

Miles away from the facilitated city,
With bread and butter in my kitty,
The visionary senses still wanting to feel the peace of the dark,
A long journey up ahead need to dress smart,
Off I set to catch the auto debited postpaid 4 wheeled cart.

Steering and braking on every corner of the road,
My heart feels so contented when I see the company board.
Amidst the greens and beneath the blue sky,
A majestic structure which stands so high.

Standing on the ground it looks so tall,
Hundreds like me within the concrete wall.
Survival of the thinnest is the mantra to get into one of those lifts,
Reaching the destination in one go is just a myth.

Pioneer or engineer you still need to greet the guarded wall,
Authenticity as a virtue it might open the doors to the big hall.
With sleepy eyes I look out of the window to sight a glimpse,
So high above the ground it sure gives you the jinx.

All so clustered and packed close by,
Yet you ping to call the person nearby.
You walk that extra mile to grab a drink,
For a mini re-union you set the brink.

Its noon, when I come down for lunch,
Spotting few empty seats I rush to dive,
Only to hear a voice say "We are already five".

Amongst a huge crowd under the same banner, it all looks so new and strange,
End of it all there's always something good about a change

There is never a destiny where you will feel satisfied,
Every new development seems mystified,
There’s not much to think but to agree that the change is to get us all unified,
A new workplace and upcoming facilities so that your lives are simplified.

Day goes by with bugging and debugging,
One eye staring out to see the sun setting,
Fait accompli you rush down like you are running a marathon,
Moving through the crowd, which poses a challenge even to the Python,
You grab a window seat as if it were a tourist bus in Rome,
Hours later you open your eyes much to the content to find "Home Sweet Home".
