Strolling down the pavement I looked at my colleague,
She was the new entrant and chances of talking to her seemed bleak.
Being in IT industry life seemed so virtual,
Give it a thought and the OSI model layers life in real.
It was time to execute my application layer,
Though the unauthorized access was always a fear.
Browsing for her I went into deep exploration,
I was surprised for mine was a trusted application.
Smart and handsome, I was to look good,
For hours searching for the perfect pic, I stayed glued.
A bad first impression couldn't be a waiver,
It was time to set my presentation layer.
Things were set and we were destined to meet,
All we needed was the perfect seat.
I sent a request asking if today is fine,
Session layers established the rendezvous and scheduled the time.
I needed my space and sat alone,
Before it could ring I switched off the phone,
Quickly I logged into orkut and yahoo,
Transport layer acknowledged no donuts for you.
All the while I felt something missing,
I had forgotten to ask into which site shes connecting.
How do I locate her and what so I search,
Network layer showed me the route before things could have gotten worst.
Found her on the very first click,
Mesmerized I sat gazing into her profile pic.
We waited all along, until the response arrived,
It took a while to extract what the Data link layer had derived.
The very first time we meet she said Hi Dear,
My heart filled with joy and cheer,
Without you physical Layer,
We wouldnt have been feeling near. :)
