LUNCH TIMES....

Hunger strikes me at 12 noon,
Munching in Sarjapur canteen is such a boon,
Happily thus, I pick up my lunch box as I head down,
To witness the ones engrossed in a pretty gown.

Is it food or is it something else,
What strikes first is never known, stomach and mind taking a guess,

Looking at me my friends feel I am in a mess.

Hundreds of them flock together, eternal beauty to which they are blessed,
Digging the wardrobes, elegant and cool they come dressed.

So then I grab a seat from where the view is clear,
Always wishing to have each one of them coming near.

Peeping into those monitors for the whole of the morning my eyes being to burn,
Whilst at lunch they feel the cool, from hotspots giving it a 360 turn.

Why don't you eat my fellows question me,
Lost I would be, watching them live in glee.

Every mouthful doesn't just seem to be keen,
Until unless atleast one is seen.

So many to watch and so much to digest,
Of the flock I only check the latest.

Several of them hidden within the rest,
It doesn't take much time to figure out the best.

Time goesby watching them as i eat,
Hoping such, that one day we would meet.

I keep no wrong thoughts when i see you,
Just to admire the beauty,cos you are one of the few.

Well thanks to all of them for passing by,
Sincerely speaking and I wouldn't lie,
As to eat every bit of my lunch, when i always make a cry,
You still you give me the energy which doesn't die.
