Shiny and energetic yellow of the Sun,
The lively red without which life is undone,
Tangy orange, amongst the lot it always stands out,
The endless blue into which you look when in doubt,
Living and essential green, the essence of human survival,
Jazzy purple and deep violet take a glance at one’s revival,
All of these make your life so beautiful,
Each of the things around you seem so colourful.
You choose your favorites and sideline the rest,
Desire as it appears to always be riding in the best.
Jealousy and envy, the heart seems to have been filled,
For a sight of a new colour keeps your wishes unfulfilled.
Me and my fellows all so deprived of luck,
That a thing I feel is a thing only when I hear the sound or sense the touch.
Sensation and information are the bricks of a sheer foundation,
To visualize I wing my imagination.
I feel contented for I make no silly cries,
Across the seven seas black is my only choice.

Just the thought of darkness throughout the life is so scary.
We have to step up and spread the awareness about eye donation. I feel pledging to donate our eyes is the least expectation from any human being.

Number of deaths reported to hospital everyday in Bangalore: 80
Number of eye donations happening everyday (after death): 2

Just a note - 2nd para 2nd line I had used a word called "colourified". I happened to look back and it so happens that this word doesn not exist. No clue why it didn strike me then, but yeah better late than never..
